 Today I took my friends advice, and made some edits to our film. These will be the final changes before the film is complete! First, I searched on YouTube for copy wright free music. This took an awful long time, because my group is picky on having the perfect scores. I wanted a score that is dramatic and has a sad tone. But, I also wanted a score that showed a suspenseful tone. I wanted this variety to show contrast in the film. Something my friend suggested, because contrast leads the audience through highs and lows, resulting in a more exciting, involving film. After finding my desired scores, I switched them out in the scenes that I desired. I also remembered to lower the volume of the underlining score track. This was another suggestion made, so the dialogue by the actors is heard clear. Now it was time to move on to the transitions. This was the last change I made to the film before it was complete.  Today I asked my friend who also has experience in film to review mine. He gave some very insightful advice that I will consider. Overall, he thought the film was very good, however there was some advice he gave to me about the editing portion of it. To start, my friend told me to be diverse in editing. He told me alot of what was used was very repetitive and distracting to the plot at hand. Specifically, the transitions were often the same. My friend told me I could benefit from using different transitions, like fades or swipes. Also, my transitions should match the mood or pace of the film. For example, if the film is coming to an end, a fade would be a nice additive to indicate the the film is concluded. Or, If I want a seem less transition between two scenes, a jump cut might also accomplish this task. The point that my friend made is valid, the transitions match the mood and pace of the film.   Today was a long day of editing my short film. First,  I took the time to organize all my material before diving into the assembly process. This involved tagging and sorting each clip by content and purpose. I then imported all my footage into Imovie , which allowed me to easily view and edit each clip. One of the first things I did was a draft of the entire film. It just involved putting all the footage together in the order I thought it would appear. While watching the rough cut, I made notes on what parts of the film needed improvement. Some scenes were too long or short, while others had to be rearranged. I started polishing the rough cut by cutting clips and rearranging scenes. This process was time consuming, but allowed us to test different ideas and find the best angle for the film. I also added sound effects and music to enhance the overall feel and tone of the film. This involved finding and selecting suitable songs that fit the style and genre of th

 Today marked the final day of our filming journey! I was supposed to have more filming day scheduled with my group. However, it didnt work out out due to implications and overlaps in our schedules. So, I chose a free day (today), and made sure that my group had more than enough time to finish the shots. After only having the beginning introduction to our film so far, my group had a lot of work to do. So, I found our desired spot at the park, and started to set up the next scene. The next scene would introduce the bullies, or the antagonist. I got our actors that were playing the bullies ready to shoot, by giving them their costumes and props. Next, I set up the camera, as I was filming for the day. After the camera was set up I took my first take of this scene. Surprisingly, this scene only took one take! The weather conditions were optimal, with little to no wind, and zero percent chance of rain. This allowed the filming process to go by much smoother, and more efficient. After filmi
