AICE Media Studies

 Today me and my group had to decide what our pitch was going to be. We wanted a pitch that perfectly describes what our film would be about, yet would still leave our target audience on edge as to what plot twists will occur in our film Our first pitch is "Bullied kid, the main character, makes a friend in the park. Their new friend is kind and funny. Everything is perfect until our main character makes a shocking discovery." This pitch lays out the base of the film well, but the hook at the end is what drives that audience to go forth and watch. Our group likes this pitch the least because it is choppy and wordy. We feel that we can come up with a pitch that can execute the same task with a more concise leading tone. Our second pitch was "An innocent day out with friends leads to a mystery only they can solve." This pitch does the job of the first once although it is concise and straight to the point.  As I'm heading into this final task, I'm gonna need some help! So, here is an introduction of my group and what they will be doing! To start, of course I'm in the group. I will be doing all around work as for a couple of people. I will be mainly a filmier and actor, however I am going to contribute to the editing process of making the final task, I'm so excited to work with my group and I know we are going to do a great job because we are all prepared. I also know that each member of the group are great at doing there job, so it will all come together nicely. The second person in my group is Cecilia. Cecilia is also our second great all around participant. she is a great filmier, but also is very good at acting.    Hey! My name is Charles worth, and I'm in AICE Media studies(A level). This is an introduction, and where I will be posting all of my blogs throughout the year. I'm so excited to be creating new pieces of media, and blogging about my journey. I've always loved media, and watching films so it is going to be a great experience making them. I also have some experience in editing which will also help me get through some film projects. Editing is also another reason why i wanted to take this media class. Not only can i improve my editing skills by taking this class, i can also improve filming, acting, and overall knowledge about media. I've already learned a lot this year in media a studies, and i hope to put that knowledge to use. part of what I have learned so far are the terms of media. Learning about different camera angles, cuts, and scenes can help me produce media to the best of my ability. Also, learning about these terms can help me apply this knowledge to every
