A great day of filming!
Today was my first day of filming! I met our group at a park near by all of our houses, and we planned to film the majority of our scenes there. I made sure to bring a fake knife, proper costumes, so our film would be as realistic as possible! Since it was our first day, I was still figuring out where our scenes will be filmed at the park, but we found our perfect spots nearby a basketball court, and an open field. At first, I was an actor. I helped act out a couple of scenes but not as a subject. However, I also did some filming work that did not include me in the scenes. In the end, we were only able to get a few scenes complete so I have a long way. At the park, I was also able to use my friends car to film a couple scenes that required it. Here I acted like we were driving to a place. In reality, we weren't driving! We simply re-located to a different area in the park to film some more after the drive in a "new location." Furthermore, in the scenes we did, we were able to use a few conventions. As I was filming, I used many low angles, and high angles. This helped capture the center of power within certain subjects. We made room for certain areas that sound could be edited in after filming. The sound, or soundtrack will help complete the opening sequence all together. Finally, after I was done filming I
reviewed the footage and checked for any errors in the process and they're was not. This is what I did in my first day of filming!
