Title Website Research

 


Me and my group were researching title designs and opening sequences and we came across two really cool websites! First, we found a website called Artofthetitle.com. This website will substantially help our group in the production process. Why did we research opening sequences? Well, we wanted to get an idea of what a sample film or something similar should like. By doing this, it help our group come up with a better product in the end. furthermore, by researching sample opening sequences it helps give our group inspiration, or other ideas to include in ours. By finding this website, our group can now refer to them when confused or come across a problem. We are excited to soon begin filming, after further diving into these websites and looking at some example opening sequences. We are happy that we found this website!






The second website that me and my group found is called WatchtheTitles.com. This website is really useful for actually viewing pieces of film. To be able to take a look at real life examples is huge for my group. Furthermore, because we now have access to these titles, we can see how a group of professionals does things. As my group researched more into this website, we noticed how much is actually on here. This plethora of titles gives my group many options on exactly whatever genre we are looking for. Also, this website shows us great title design pictures too, not only the beginning clip. The website is easily understandable, and very easy to use. We are glad in the end that we found this title website as well. We will for sure be using WatchtheTitles.com!

storyboard and scenes for the music video.

  Scene 1: In this scene, me and my group will film an actor, lying in bed as an alarm clock goes off, this is then when the song will start. this will be an extreme close up shot. Scene 2: After scene one, the next scene will take place in the kitchen of a group mates house, here breakfast will be served and it will start the day. breakfast will include items such ass eggs, bacon, and juice. this will be a eye level shot. that will pan into an extreme close up of the food. Scene 3: In scene 3, my group will film two actors walking around frost park talking, and simply catching up about their day, we will be sure to include happy facial expressions to show the meaning of the song. this will be a wide shot Scene 4: For scene 4, the basketball will be introduced, at the gateway of the basketball court at the park, where an actor will be questioning, "who will we playing basketball with today". this will also be a wide shot. Genre research : (comedy)

       The first genre that our group chose is comedy. Here are the common camera angles, mis-en-scene, sounds, editing. As well as some example films. Common Angles: There are many different angles that are widely used in the comedy genre. To start, commonly extreme close ups as well as close up shots are used. These shots are usually shown to help the audience understand or grasp on the humor portrayed by facial expressions, and reactions from the subjects on the film. Furthermore, other angles are widely seen in comedy, like wide shots. Wide shots are used mainly to fit a large gathering into one shot, and by doing this it opens the door to group comedy, and other characters to fit into the scene or story play. Finally, the last common camera angle that we see a lot in this genre is eyeline shots. An eyeline shot in comedy is the subjects way to often tell the audience directly, the joke or line being said.
