editing today was rough.

 Today was my second day editing the music video, and there were some road blocks. TO start, i had to make changes to the audio. The hardest part about this was trying to make the audio match the clips, making sure the lip syncing is right. Also, i went back and changed the speed or certain clips that i felt were to fast or too slow. As i re-watched the entire music video, i felt that there were certain shots were the camera wasn't fully focused o the subject. So, i made sure to drag the focus over the subjects. I also added filters over some shots to make the video's colors more vibrant. I though by also adding a few filters, it made the video seem more old style that matches the originality of the song. However, the second to last scene, I couldn't get the lyrics to match up with the action because the part of the song i was using did not contain those certain lyrics. To make the "Lakers" part match the action, it would've had to transition through different spots in the song seamlessly. Nevertheless, i did feel that the Lakers scene highlight the meaning of the song even if not directed to the sport directly. i also decided to add more fades within the audio, specifically in the beginning and end of the song, adding a fade in, and slowly fading out the music towards the end. Another issue that came to me when i was editing the video was making sure all of our scenes could fit under the 1 minute and 10 second mark. By playing around with the length of some clips i was able to shorten some scenes and fit the time limit. Since i was using Imovie to edit, some clip were blurry when added from camera roll. To fix this as well, i had to take many clips to my iCloud and export them to the panel from there, this took a while to figure out. One of the last thing i did was changed one transition, to a dissolve when reflecting on the day, this show seperation between reality and thought. I then exported the edit. Exporting took a very long time, to convert all of my work into one simple video. Overall I am happy with how the editing process went besides some issues regarding audio, and some visual clips. This is what is did during my second day of editing!

storyboard and scenes for the music video.

  Scene 1: In this scene, me and my group will film an actor, lying in bed as an alarm clock goes off, this is then when the song will start. this will be an extreme close up shot. Scene 2: After scene one, the next scene will take place in the kitchen of a group mates house, here breakfast will be served and it will start the day. breakfast will include items such ass eggs, bacon, and juice. this will be a eye level shot. that will pan into an extreme close up of the food. Scene 3: In scene 3, my group will film two actors walking around frost park talking, and simply catching up about their day, we will be sure to include happy facial expressions to show the meaning of the song. this will be a wide shot Scene 4: For scene 4, the basketball will be introduced, at the gateway of the basketball court at the park, where an actor will be questioning, "who will we playing basketball with today". this will also be a wide shot. Genre research : (comedy)

       The first genre that our group chose is comedy. Here are the common camera angles, mis-en-scene, sounds, editing. As well as some example films. Common Angles: There are many different angles that are widely used in the comedy genre. To start, commonly extreme close ups as well as close up shots are used. These shots are usually shown to help the audience understand or grasp on the humor portrayed by facial expressions, and reactions from the subjects on the film. Furthermore, other angles are widely seen in comedy, like wide shots. Wide shots are used mainly to fit a large gathering into one shot, and by doing this it opens the door to group comedy, and other characters to fit into the scene or story play. Finally, the last common camera angle that we see a lot in this genre is eyeline shots. An eyeline shot in comedy is the subjects way to often tell the audience directly, the joke or line being said.
