My group is doing a Nike commercial, the commercial will be focused on physical activity, specifically sports using Nike gear. 

  •  Costumes: our team will specifically be wearing Nike gear, for example, tops, shirts, shorts, etc.  

  • Props: some props used include Nike water bottles, Nike sneakers, and Nike apparel.  

  • The actor's appearance will be athletic, active, sweaty and showing instances of physical activity. 

  • The music throughout the commercial will seem fast paced, with motivational tones to get the audience to feel the need to be active with Nike. 

 

 

 





 

       The Nike logo, as the “Swoosh” and the iconic “Just do it” slogan. This convention gives the audience inspiration to accomplish your desired goal. 

As far as angles, many angles and close ups will be used to show the Nike logo. Also, over the shoulder angles will be used to show the audience from behind physical activities being done. 

The commercial is going to captivate pathos, and emotion. This will show the audience the inspiration that comes from Nike. And how they can be free to “Just do it”

storyboard and scenes for the music video.

  Scene 1: In this scene, me and my group will film an actor, lying in bed as an alarm clock goes off, this is then when the song will start. this will be an extreme close up shot. Scene 2: After scene one, the next scene will take place in the kitchen of a group mates house, here breakfast will be served and it will start the day. breakfast will include items such ass eggs, bacon, and juice. this will be a eye level shot. that will pan into an extreme close up of the food. Scene 3: In scene 3, my group will film two actors walking around frost park talking, and simply catching up about their day, we will be sure to include happy facial expressions to show the meaning of the song. this will be a wide shot Scene 4: For scene 4, the basketball will be introduced, at the gateway of the basketball court at the park, where an actor will be questioning, "who will we playing basketball with today". this will also be a wide shot. Genre research : (comedy)

       The first genre that our group chose is comedy. Here are the common camera angles, mis-en-scene, sounds, editing. As well as some example films. Common Angles: There are many different angles that are widely used in the comedy genre. To start, commonly extreme close ups as well as close up shots are used. These shots are usually shown to help the audience understand or grasp on the humor portrayed by facial expressions, and reactions from the subjects on the film. Furthermore, other angles are widely seen in comedy, like wide shots. Wide shots are used mainly to fit a large gathering into one shot, and by doing this it opens the door to group comedy, and other characters to fit into the scene or story play. Finally, the last common camera angle that we see a lot in this genre is eyeline shots. An eyeline shot in comedy is the subjects way to often tell the audience directly, the joke or line being said.
